Dudley and Sharon TerKeurst have enjoyed raising and sharing the benefits of dairy goats for over 25 years. After receiving a Nubian doe as a gift in 1984, their interest was piqued, and they attended the American Dairy Goat Show (ADGA) in South Florida. The TerKeurst’s soon realized however, that their beloved ‘Misty’ could not compete successfully in ADGA shows, and have steadily improved their herd in both milk production and show quality. Today the Terk’s Acres herd consists of 28 registered Alpines and they have received numerous awards.
